Meal delivery for NDIS and Home Care Package participants in Melbourne
September 05 2026 – Kathy Dao
If you're a plan manager, support coordinator, carer or participant looking for a reliable weekly meal provider in Melbourne, here's how PleNOSH works for funded care.
Who we are
PleNOSH Kitchen is a family-owned business in Cheltenham, VIC. We started in 2014 as a catering business and moved to ready-made meal delivery in 2021. Every meal is cooked in our registered commercial kitchen and delivered across Melbourne metro and the Mornington Peninsula.
We've been serving plan-managed participants through Cookaborough for several years, and we welcome enquiries from plan managers and support coordinators.
How plan-managed participants order
Funded care orders go through Cookaborough, our partner platform. Cookaborough is already approved by many plan management providers and holds our compliance documentation on file, so there's no extra admin for your plan manager. Plan managers can be linked directly with Cookaborough to streamline approvals.
- Order at: cookaborough.com/plenosh-kitchen
- Order cutoff: Sunday 10pm
- Delivery: Wednesday, across all Melbourne metro and the Mornington Peninsula
- Pricing: shown at checkout. Delivery fees are calculated by postcode.
The weekly rhythm stays the same every week: the menu opens Thursday, closes Sunday night, and meals arrive Wednesday. One cutoff, one delivery day. Predictable for participants and for the people supporting them.
What's in the packs
Weekly Meal Pack. Complete heat-and-eat meals, around 400g each, with protein, rice and vegetables in one container. Choose Meat or Vegetarian. Sizes suit 1 adult through to a household of 4.
Mains to Share Pack. Main dishes only (protein and sauce), in 500g or 1kg portions. You add your own rice, noodles or pasta. Good for households where someone still likes to cook part of the meal, or where a carer prepares the sides.
À la carte. Individual meats, soups, salads, buns, sides and desserts.
The menu changes weekly, with 5 meat and 5 vegetarian dishes each week. Flavours are Asian-inspired and familiar: Japanese beef curry, Thai green curry, teriyaki chicken, satay chicken, braised pork belly, tom yum soup.
Dietary needs
Meat and vegetarian options run across every pack. Other dietary needs, including gluten-free, specific allergens or modified textures, can be discussed on request. Please contact us before ordering so we can confirm what's possible for that week's menu.
Every meal is labelled with full ingredients and allergen information, so participants and care providers can check what's in each container.
Compliance and food safety
We operate from a registered commercial kitchen in Cheltenham and maintain documented food safety systems (HACCP-aligned). On request we can provide:
- Insurance certificates
- ABN verification
- Ingredient and allergen documentation
Why participants stay with us
- Real home cooking. Each batch is cooked to that week's orders and packed within 24 hours of delivery.
- Familiar, comforting flavours. Meals that taste like a home-cooked dinner.
- Reliable schedule. Same cutoff, same delivery day, every week.
- Plan-management friendly. Documentation is already on file with Cookaborough.
A note on funding
Whether meal delivery is covered under a participant's plan depends on their individual plan and goals. We can't advise on eligibility. Please check with your plan manager or support coordinator before ordering.
